Teacher PD

The ASCC Teacher Professional Development program is held in parallel to challenge rounds, with the webinar sessions being recognised as formal CPD for QLD teachers (and with recognition in other states also being investigated), thanks to our partners Griffith University.

As the ASCC challenge content is technical, it’s critical we empower teachers to have the relevant skills and knowledge set, so that students succeed in ASCC and are more prepared for career pathways into cyber security.

In these 2 hour webinars, we will walk you through the round’s practical labs and theory units in more detail, while Griffith University will provide you with the foundational knowledge for the technical topics that your students will be working on during each round of the challenge.

In this 2 hour teacher PD session, we will walk you through the first half of the Round 1 theory units and practice labs in more detail, while Griffith University will provide you with the foundational knowledge for the technical topics that students will be working in during Round 1 of the challenge.
